Read the Perloff chapter titled “What is Political Communication?” In this chapter Perloff offers a definition of political communication and then explains five aspects of the definition.First, do you agree with the definition? Why or why not? Next, choose two of the aspects of the definition explained by the author. (There are 5 total) Give a real-world example that clarifies these two aspects. Your responses should be detailed. For instance, I would choose the recent resignation of New York Governor Cuomo to show how communication effects can be intended or unintended. Sexual harassment allegations turned into a process that included the media, leaders, and citizens.
