Write a report about the 4 basic types of reaction mechanisms explain what they are, provide examples and draw each mechanism out fully with proper arrows, charges etc. This report will of course require drawings! Lets say one page for each reaction mechanism (E1, E2, SN1 and SN2) . Drawing should not count towards the one page.
For SN1 and E1 be sure to mention the effect of the solvent, the carbocation stability and why it matters as well as rearrangements.
For SN2 be sure to mention back side attack and explain why this mechanism does not work for tertiary halides.
For E2 be sure to mention something about anticoplaner and why it matters.
